This weekend, we learned that you can teach an old hog new tricks. The Whole Hog food truck was seen in Delaware Park’s Rumsey Field last Saturday for the inaugural Tatonka District Boy Scouts Spring Camporee.
The camp, which was held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., taught Buffalo area boy scouts different skills including archery, problem solving, nature, collecting evidence, knot tying, first aid, fire building, navigation, and dutch oven cooking.
New York Marketing spoke to the Whole Hog’s Matt and Kathleen about being part of the event.
Kathleen, a chef from the Whole Hog, said she hopes to use some of the tips she picked up from the Dutch Oven Cooking station to incorporate in the Whole Hog’s cooking.
