Abbott’s Frozen Custard has been delighting customers since 1902, when founder Arthur Abbott began perfecting his secret frozen custard recipe while traveling with summer carnivals along the Eastern Seaboard. In 1926, he established a stand in Rochester, New York, across from Charlotte Beach, which quickly became a local favorite. In 1957, Leonard and Thelma Schreiber purchased the business, and their family continues to own and operate it today, ensuring it remains a cherished family tradition.​

To bring their creamy, handcrafted custard to more people, Abbott’s introduced a food truck, offering the same beloved treats found in their shops. The truck serves a variety of favorites, including sundaes, milkshakes, flurries, and cones with up to eight flavors available . This mobile extension allows Abbott’s to cater to events and reach customers beyond their traditional locations.​

Abbott’s food truck is available for a range of events, from birthdays and weddings to corporate gatherings and community festivals. Their catering services include classic options like chocolate and vanilla custard with assorted toppings, as well as novelties such as the signature Turtle—layers of frozen custard, Spanish peanuts, and fudge, dipped in dark chocolate.​
