Description: I am reaching out to inquire if you will be interested in partnering with our School Based Services department for our annual Back to School Family Day Thursday August 22, 2024, from 1:00pm-3:00pm. The event is held to celebrate our enrolled caseload families as we prepare for the start of the school year. Our department supports low-income families who are involved with the child welfare system. The day consists of activities, free haircuts, free school supplies, and additional resources for families. The event is held at the Johnnie B. Wiley stadium and has approximately 100-150 participants.
We are looking to partner with a local food truck who would be able to provide a simple menu for our families of hot dogs, hamburgers, turkey and/or veggie burgers. We have a modest budget and could provide compensation between $500-$750, factoring in if you would need us to purchase the food.
